Assignment or Essay on "Students Failure In English"

Every year a number of students in our country fail in English, After failure they remorse for their poor marks but hardly find out the inner causes of their failure.

Actually there are a lot of causes for failure in English. Firstly, students are not aware of their syllabus. As a result. they cannot understand the questions properly. Secondly, they do not know the process of writing examination papers fairly. Thirdly, poor academic facillities are also partly responsible for their failure in English. Fourthly, there is shortage of experts in English. Actually students of our country are usually in fear of English. They take it as a foreign language and keep themselves aloof from gathering basic information. Teachers are also responsible for their students failure. They spend their major portion of time in private teaching and thus neglect their main duty. As a result, students cannot get their proper service and are forced to cram their answer which bring poor marks.

All these drawbacks should be removed. Students should understand the questions well and answer them just to the point. They should not neglect their studies. It is also necessery to follow the communicative method for developing skill in English, In examination paper sentences should be brief and exact, answer should be correct in respect of grammatical rules.

In fact, the students as well as the teachers should be more serious and attentive to improve this condition.
