Essay My Village or The Village I Live In

The name of my village is pahar paboyjan. It is in the upazila of muktagacha under Mymensingh district. Its area is 5 square kilometres.

Cur village is beset with natural flavour as it was once in the midst of forest area. Nowadays it becomes a land devoid of forestland. With its past beauty, even today it carries some outstanding characteristic. people of our village are so natural and they love their village as like as their life. There is a small river names barnar that flows on the western part of the village. The river gets a charning look as it flows under the Madhupur Garh.

The houses of our village look like a garden house as most of the houses are closely beset with flower garden. about eighty percent houses are made with tin and wood. There are some houses made mud and thatched by long wild grasses. Only one percent house is brick built.

The inhabitants of my village are mostly peasants and wood cutters. There are one primary school, one high school, one satellite school, two madrashas, one community hospital and a sub-post office. About 60% of our village people are educated and there are university proffessors, doctors, teachers and computer engineers.

Even though our village is far in land. It has some of the amenities of modern life. There are facillities of Electricity and brick built roads. There is also a village market on the river bank where people from many neighbouring villages come for shopping. There is no scarcity of water in our village. There is a public library in our village where all kinds of books are available.

Actually, our village is an ideal one. We are fortunate that we have such a village that gives us mental serenity and shelter as well.
